What productions is the defender available for?
Anything really...from high end film, to TVC's to branded content stills, get in touch and we can help!
Does it come with a driver?
Yes, this is the ONLY way we hire our vehicle out. It comes with a driver for the duration of your production as this is part of the hire agreement and included in any quote.
Do you offer custom rates?
Of course, every shoot is unique so therefore we tailor each quote to your specific job.
Are you only based in Queenstown?
We live in Queenstown therefore the vehicle use for hire typically is in the local area, however we can travel further afield to Central Otago and beyond if required.
What does it cost for production hire?
Great question! This can vary a lot depending on how long and what the use is, but general guideline is approximately $750 + GST for a HALF DAY hire and $1200 + GST for a FULL DAY. After hours call and wrap times (before 6AM and after 6PM) incur an additional min $250 + GST fee in additional to the hire rate.
This rate includes the vehicle being driven to your location and driver ON SET at all times to drive or assist in setting the vehicle up for your shoot.
